Students may select up to 10 credits from courses outside the department. However, to ensure alignment with professional and academic goals, it is recommended that electives be primarily chosen from the doctoral program offered by this department. Consultation with academic advisors and thesis supervisors is advised when opting for courses from other departments.

Subjects:Two foundational subjects (Microeconomic Theory, Macroeconomic Theory) and one specialized subject.
Examination Attempts:Students must pass the doundational subject exa,s within five semesters of enrollment. If a student fails the same foundational subject exam three times or does not pass the specialized subject exam within seven semesters, they will be dismissed from the program.
